We have certainly countenanced a copious counting of
comics, charlatans, confectioners and the like in this
momentous, at times horrendous electoral circus.

In homage to the same and to better suffer our
suffrage, we shall opine not with politicized utterances,
nor shall we denounce patent dunces.

We'll have a laugh and a chortle-fed shiver instead
at a pile of clowns, some of whom
have no heads.
